This policy explains how Emporic, Inc. ("Emporic", "we") collects and uses personal information when you visit emporic.ai or book a demo. It does not cover the Emporic product, which is governed by our customer agreements.
What we collect
- Information you give us when you book a demo: your work email, role, any notes, and the time you choose.
- Usage information, if analytics are on for you: pages viewed, clicks, approximate location (country and region), device and browser type, referring page, and session replays with form inputs masked. See thecookie policy.
- Technical information needed to run the site securely, such as IP address and request logs, kept for 30 days to prevent abuse.
How we use it
- To schedule and hold your demo, including sending a calendar invitation with a video link.
- To follow up with you about Emporic.
- To understand how the site is used and improve it (analytics).
- To keep the site and booking system secure and prevent abuse.
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, our legal bases are: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (booking a demo), our legitimate interests in following up with business contacts and securing the site, and your consent for analytics.
Who we share it with
We use service providers that process information on our behalf and under contract:
- Amazon Web Services (hosting and email delivery)
- Google (calendar and video meetings for demos)
- PostHog (analytics, if enabled for you)
- Cloudflare (bot protection on the booking form)
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. Some providers are in the United States; where required, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
- Demo booking details (the calendar invitation and our booking notification) are kept for as long as we have a business relationship or a reasonable prospect of one. We delete them sooner if you ask.
- Analytics events are kept for 1 year, and session replays for 30 days.
- Security and request logs are deleted automatically after 30 days. Records used to rate-limit the booking form expire within a day and are then deleted automatically.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or port your personal information, to object to or restrict how we use it, to withdraw consent at any time, and to opt out of any sale or sharing. You can turn analytics off at any time from . To exercise any other right, email info@emporic.ai. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
